■ Vitamin B12

Cyanocobalamin is usually used in ordinally Vitamin B12 supplements. To utilize Cyanocobalamin B12 in the body, you need to remove the cyan group in the liver and replace it with a methyl group to make Methylcobalamin, an active form of Vitamin B12.  Only Methylcobalamin can work inside the body. For our product, we chose Methylcobalamin, which has higher absorption and is active.

■ Folic acid

Not all folic acid supplements are the same. Folate (Methyl Folate) is a natural vitamin found in plants. On the other hand, Folic Acid is a synthesized vitamin. Folic Acid needs to convert to the active form of 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate in the body, but this process requires many steps. Due to genetic issues, about one-third of the population cannot convert Folic Acid to 5-Methyltetrahydrofolate.  Since our vitamin B Complex contains patented “Metafolin,” absorption is incomparable to conventional folic acid, and the effect lasts longer in the body.

■ Vitamin B1

Fat-soluble vitamin B1 (benfotiamine) has more than five times more absorbable than regular water-soluble vitamin B1 and has excellent cell absorption capacity. Benfotiamine has been used in Europe for decades to help the condition of elevated blood sugar. For instance, AGEs (advanced glycation end-products) cause structural changes in cells, worsening blood flow and accelerating aging. AGEs are the end products of the glycation reaction of proteins and lipids due to excessive sugar intake and hyperglycemia. Accumulation of AGEs deteriorates cell structure and function. Research suggested that benfotiamine helps the condition of production and accumulation of AGEs.
