Why Do Diets Often Fail?
Understanding the Causes of Rebounding
Diet and exercise play crucial roles in weight management, yet many individuals experience a weight loss plateau, often followed by a rebound, where they regain the lost weight. Two primary factors contribute to this challenge:
1. Post-Diet Appetite Increase: After going on a diet, it is common for the body to experience increased hunger and reduced feelings of fullness, making it challenging to stick to food restrictions and leading to increased food intake, which undermines previous weight loss efforts.
2. Slowed Metabolism: Dieting can slow down metabolism, reducing the body’s ability to burn fat. The body becomes more efficient at conserving energy, which can make further weight loss difficult.
The Key to a Successful Diet
Overcoming Plateaus with Hunger Management and Metabolic Support
Achieving lasting weight management requires addressing hunger and supporting metabolism effectively.
Natural Ingredients that Support Successful Weight Management
Hibiscus Flower, Lemon Verbena Leaf, and Green Coffee Bean Extracts contain polyphenols that help regulate the balance between satiety hormones (like GLP-1) and hunger hormones (such as ghrelin). These natural ingredients help prevent rebound weight gain and support successful weight management. Additionally, they activate the 5' adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) enzyme, which supports intracellular metabolism, ensuring the continuous burning of fats.
Reboundless Ingredients and Their Benefits
â– Metabolaid® (Hibiscus Flower and Lemon Verbena Leaf Extract)
Polyphenols found in hibiscus flowers and lemon verbena leaves are instrumental in balancing hunger and satiety hormones. These compounds also enhance metabolism and promote lean body mass by activating the AMPK enzyme.
â– Green Coffee Bean Extract
Green coffee beans contain two key polyphenols—caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid. With less caffeine than regular coffee, the green coffee bean extract safely boosts metabolism and supports fat metabolism. Chlorogenic acid helps manage post-meal blood sugar levels and reduces fat absorption, while both acids work synergistically to prevent fat accumulation and support a healthier body composition. Moreover, green coffee beans have strong antioxidant properties, which protect the body from free radicals and unhealthy metabolism.
What Makes Naturopathy's Reboundless Unique?
The polyphenols in Reboundless are derived from Metabolaid®, a high-quality ingredient from the Spanish company Monteloeder. Research indicates that the combined polyphenols in hibiscus and lemon verbena are six times more effective in activating the AMPK enzyme when used together, as found in Metabolaid®, compared to using these extracts individually.
Clinical studies have demonstrated significant results with Metabolaid®:
Weight Management: Obese adults who took 500 mg of Metabolaid® daily, along with dietary restrictions, saw reductions in body weight, BMI, body fat, and abdominal fat.
Appetite Regulation: In a study focused on hunger and satiety hormones, a 24% increase in the satiety hormone GLP-1 was observed in obese adults taking 500 mg of Metabolaid® daily, even without dietary changes. Additionally, there was no increase in hunger hormones, and a 55% reduction in the obesity hormone leptin was noted when combined with dietary restrictions.
Moreover, an 8-week double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in obese women showed that those who took green coffee bean extract daily while following a calorie-restricted diet experienced more significant weight loss compared to the placebo group.
The green coffee bean extract in Reboundless is decaffeinated, making it safe for individuals sensitive to caffeine, allowing them to enjoy the benefits without concern.
