• Quercetin

Quercetin is a potent flavonoid with strong anti-inflammatory properties. It helps regulate excess inflammation, a common cause of many health concerns while acting as a powerful antioxidant. By neutralizing free radicals, quercetin protects cells from oxidative stress, which can contribute to chronic conditions.

Additionally, quercetin inhibits the release of histamine, a compound involved in allergic reactions, and prevents the spread of substances that exacerbate allergy symptoms.

• Nettle leaves

Studies have shown that nettle leaf alleviates symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as hay fever. It works by suppressing the action of histamine, reducing inflammation-causing substances, and boosting the secretion of anti-inflammatory compounds. In a clinical study, 58% of participants taking 300 mg of freeze-dried nettle leaf capsules reported improvement in seasonal allergy symptoms, compared to 37% of the placebo group.

• N-Acetyl Cysteine

NAC helps thin mucus, making it easier to expel, and reduces oxidative stress in the respiratory passages, facilitating easier breathing. Additionally, NAC supports overall immune health by promoting the production of glutathione, the body's most powerful antioxidant, which helps regulate immune function and mitigate oxidative stress.

• Vitamin C

Oxidative stress can negatively impact the health of the throat and nasal passages. Low vitamin C levels are often observed in individuals sensitive to allergens like pollen, dust, and mites. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, helping the respiratory tract clear harmful free radicals and boosting immune defense. When taken together, quercetin and vitamin C enhance immune response and prolong the activity of quercetin by recycling it in the body.

What Makes Naturopahy’ Nose Throat Ez Unique ?

Nose Throat Ez helps prevent the release of histamine and stabilizes mast cells involved in allergic reactions, reducing symptoms such as hay fever. Unlike traditional antihistamines, it does not directly block histamine so that it won't cause drowsiness.

The quercetin used in Nose Throat Ez is a quercetin-phospholipid complex (Quercefit®), which is 20 times more absorbable than standard quercetin, maximizing its efficacy. Quercetin used in other products is typically derived from buckwheat or onions, which may trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. However, Nose Throat Ez uses high-purity quercetin extracted from the flower buds of Sophora japonica, making it suitable for those with plant allergies.

A study on the effects of Quercefit® in Japanese adults with nasal and eye discomfort found that 200 mg daily for 4 weeks significantly improved symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes, and runny nose, along with better sleep quality, compared to placebo. Additional research has demonstrated that Quercefit® can also help alleviate early cold symptoms. In conjunction with standard treatment, participants receiving 500 to 1500 mg of Quercefit® daily experienced reduced phlegm, nasal congestion, and inflammation and faster recovery compared to those who received standard therapy alone.
