Immune Boost V is a powerful blend of immune-supporting herbs, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.

The ingredients in the Immune Boost V enhance immune function by increasing the antibody response, the activity of Natural Killer cells, secretion of thymic hormones, and the activity of immune T cells, which are crucial for immune function.

■ Zinc

Zinc enhances immune function by activating thymic hormones and thymic factors synergistically with vitamin A. Sufficient zinc enhances the activity of immune T cells, Natural Killer cells, Macrophages, etc., and supports the production of antibodies.

■ Vitamin C

Vitamin C is well known for supporting the immune response. The level of Vitamin C in the body declines very quickly when the immune system is fighting against infection. Thus, it is crucial to take vitamin C continuously during immune challenges. Vitamin C also enhances the activity of Natural Killer cells and T cells, which are the critical fight against infection.

■ Vitamin A

Vitamin A supports the mucous membranes of the nose and throat. In other words, vitamin A deficiency brings soreness to the nose and throat and becomes prone to infection. Vitamin A also stimulates leukocytes and enhances antibody responses to support immune function.

Astragalus grows naturally in northern China and has been used as one of the traditional herbal medicines for centuries. Astragalus enhances immune function by activating antibodies, lymphokine-activated killer cells (LAK cells), and macrophages.  It is highly effective as an energy tonic and boosts energy recovery from infection.

■ Echinacea Purpurea Extract

Echinacea is a perennial herb that Native Americans have prized because it enhances immune function. Echinacea fights infection by increasing white blood cell activity and levels. Echinacea prevents microbes from attaching and entering the cells. It also blocks the microbe’s receptor from adhering to the cell and entering the cells.
