Toxins, toxins, toxins? What kinds of substances are toxins? The toxins referred to here are not those that cause acute poisonings, such as arsenic, aconite, or poisonous mushrooms, but toxins that affect the body when trace amounts of a substance accumulate in the body over many years. They can be divided into three main types.
1,Environmental pollutants
- Emissions from factories, mines, oil fields
- Automobile exhaust
- Chemical solvents (paint, building materials, dry cleaning)
- Heavy metals
- Pesticides, herbicides
- Radioactive materials
2,Household goods and Food additives
- Air fresheners, deodorizer
- Detergents and cleaning products
- Cosmetics
- Tobacco
- Alcohol
- Medicines
- Food additives, synthetic colors, and preservatives
- Meat, dairy products (hormones, antibiotics)
- Sugar, refined foods
3,Toxins produced by our own body and intestinal flora
- Metabolites from abnormally grown bacteria, candida, and molds
- Metabolic wastes
- Undigested food
- Stress
